NEW LIFE AS A CONTENT CREATOR
You may have heard through the grape vine that I have upped the activity in my YouTube Channel. If not, I invite you to go take a peek! Lot’s of exciting content happening over there.
I’m making it a goal to post a few times a month and show things such as (but not limited to):
Studio Updates
How To’s
Current Projects
Outside Adventures
Travel
etc
It keeps me motivated as well as excites me sharing my illustrator life with everyone. I enjoy putting my everyday musings and hope to give some inspiration as well as motivation in your creative journey. Not creative? That’s ok, I keep things light so perhaps you can enjoy some of the travel vlogs which can possibly light the fire to explore your surroundings as well.
To be honest, it also keeps me accountable towards my projects! Ha, ha, ha! Nothing like documenting your process till it’s done to get things checked off that “To do” list. If you see me slacking off, I might need you to kick me back into gear! KAT, GET ILLUSTRATING!
With that all said, you can see the link to my latest video down below. It is pretty funny and deals with my “epic adventure” trying to screenprint with emulsion after 20+ years. It was not pretty, but I will let you be the judge of that!
So, if you like what you see. I’d love for you to “like” my videos and subscribe to my channel! The more feedback and community interactions, the more fun it is. It would also be great to make some lovely endorsements (aka get paid!!!) to do what I love. But, I can only do that with your support! I appreciate it from the heart.
Now….about that video!!!
SYNOPSIS
As a graphic designer who usually sticks to digital work and simpler printing methods, I thought I'd challenge myself to try something in my discomfort zone. What started as a birthday gift project quickly became a learning experience filled with mistakes, laughs, and eventually... a shirt that's perfect for wearing inside! 😅
